When you think ‘porcelain,’ you probably think tea cups and china. But ceramic artist Katherine Morling has thrown all of that out the window with her totally amazing porcelain sculptures.

I first met the ceramicist Monica Pisilli through a mutual friend, who had a hunch that I’d love her work, and of course, I did!

When I first came across the photographs of Paulette Tavormina, I was instantly hooked. These beautiful, dark, rich compositions looked like they sprang right out of a book of Old Master Paintings, yet they were contemporary photographs!

It’s all made of wood. Seriously. When I came across these interesting textiles by Elisa Strozyk, I couldn’t quite believe what I was seeing – carpets, blankets, tablecloths, even clothes, all made from wood!
