When I first came across Richard Brendon’s ceramics, I could hardly believe that the adept designer and craftsman is a relative new-comer in a long line of British ceramics.

I love nothing more than a good kitchen. It is always the heart of every home, and big or small, it seems to be the place where everyone gathers at a dinner party!

Having just been in Mexico City, I am increasingly obsessed with all things embroidered! It’s something you see everywhere – from the street markets, to high end shops, but one of my favorite iterations of this fabulous, colorful, hand-stitched embroidery is from Texas based brand, Mi Golondrina.

There are moments in my life where things come into focus, and I really remember why I love doing what I am doing these days. Visiting master bookbinder Paul Vogel in his East Hampton bindery was definitely one of those moments.
