I just love it when two of my favorite things team up to create something magical! As my readers probably know, I’m bit wallpaper-obsessed, and there are very few makers out there that do it better than Schumacher. Founded in 1889, the family-owned company has spent generations perfecting their beautiful prints and patterns, and now they’ve collaborated with Vogue Living to create this lovely line of textiles and wallpapers for the home.
The equally amazing Vogue (also founded in at the end of the 19th century) has done only a few collaborations so far under its Living label, but this collection in particular brings out their well-trained eye. It’s versatile, fun, elegant and chic. Ranging from “romantic florals, sartorial stripes, charming checks and subtle sheers,” the collection is a modern take on English Country, drawing inspiration from Vogue and Schumacher’s extensive archives.
I don’t even know where to begin choosing favorites! The Marella and Milicent patterns are definitely a fond reminder of my anglophile past. But with my love of black and white, I think the Mona print would complement my favorite Astier de Villatte table settings quite nicely as well.
