Valentino does it again.

Valentino does it again.

The embroidery is just divine. The details and accessories are perfect. Another fabulous collection from the design duo at Valentino! This time it is the Ready to Wear Spring 2014 collection that they recently debuted in Paris so it is a bit more attainable for us mere mortals than the Couture collection I last wrote about.

Their collection contained beautiful, luxurious examples of embroidery and exquisite use of tablecloth lace.

What’s not to love?

It is impressive to me when a bigger fashion label does such an homage to fabulous workmanship. It is in the DNA at Valentino to do so. Mr. Valentino was not only known for his red dresses but also for his love affair with couture, craft, and ornate embroidery. Valentino made his mark early with intricately detailed, luxurious gowns and I am glad to see that Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli seem to be carrying on that tradition.

Just a bit of eye candy for all of us (fashionable) embroidery lovers.
